Moorclose is a traditional cumbrian farm cottage, now extensively renovated, situated outside the village of St Bees, Cumbria, set within 4 acres woodland gardens and pasture land.

A family run Bed and Breakfast with stables, paddocks and menage available if you wish to bring your four legged friends.

The extensive Woodland gardens are ideal for children to play safely being totally enclosed with a gated driveway.

The bedrooms are tastefully decorated, two en-suite and a third large bedroom ideal for children.

If walking is your passion, Moorclose is ideal for the the Coast to Coast walk starting in the village of St Bees.

Moorclose has secure storage, ideal for bikes, canoes and other equipment along with washing and drying facilities.

Facilities

Ample parking space, washing and drying facilities and storage sheds. A wash pad is available to wash down dirty dogs or bikes. The courtyard has a seating area where you can either dine or drink, it is a lovely place to sit with a glass of wine watching the sunset .  For the more adventurous there is also a raised outdoor swimming pool ideal on those warm summer evenings for a refreshing dip.

We can only provide a breakfast (full English).

Rates are £25 per room including VAT, per night based on 1 adult and are inclusive of bed and full English breakfast.
