Methodist Chapel
The church sees itself today providing a quiet and comfortable space for visitors and for the people of St Bees as well as for its own small congregation.
It was opened in 1865 and last refurbished in 2000. It has a plain, simple, flexible worship area with lots of light and comfortable seating upstairs and a welcoming meeting room with kitchen below.
Improved access involves an induction loop, ramp, chair lifts, new internal staircase and accessible toilet.
We meet on Sundays for worship and with a small Sunday School most Sundays.
The chapel is usually open every day for anyone who wants to look around or just have a little peace in a busy world.
We are especially hoping to improve our ministry for visitors and can provide facilities for quiet days and prayer walks as well as somewhere to keep out of the (occasional) rain!

It is available for use by any groups who can make use of it - for bookings.
