New Year 1999

New Year - The Priory ringers have a long tradition of ringing out the old year, and ringing in the new. There is "open House" to the village, and the ringers are quite properly dressed for the occasion. There were over 60 people in the belfry for the Millennium ringing 1999-2000. Top hats are not obligatory, but have been worn. This year ringing will start at 11.45 p.m. Visitors welcome - please enter by the door in the graveyard by the lych gate.
