Friends of the Priory Objectives To assist in the repair, conservation, improvement and maintenance of the fabric of the Church, Church halls, Churchyard and grounds of the Priory Church, St Bees. To stimulate interest in and support for the Priory through social and cultural events. To raise funds to further the objectives of The Friends. To encourage interest in the history, architecture and heritage of the Priory. Over the past few years, The Friends have contributed to the cost of improved exterior lighting for the Priory, the provision of ramps for the disabled persons, an improved display area in the Priory, the provision of indoor flood lights for Priory events and towards the costs of improved toilet facilities including a toilet for the disabled. We are keen to have new members and all are welcome to help us! Present annual subscriptions are £5.00 Contact webmaster for further details. |
