History corner This is a collection of the Priory's historical stones. There are local interpretation notices. Prominent are two effigies of unknown knights. Around the walls are a number of grave slabs of the 12th and 13th centuries.

The large glass cases tell the story of the discovery of the "St. Bees Man" in 1981. Buried in a lead coffin, his was the best-preserved body to be discovered in modern times.
