Thirty years ago St Bees had 3 grocers, a greengrocer, post office and newsagents, a clothes shop, and two gift shops, as well as several varied businesses. We no longer have many shops, being down to two - the Post Office and the grocery store which is part of Harley's Cafe, but we do have several small businesses providing a range of services. Please help keep what we have left by supporting them whenever possible. What we have is very good!
