St Bees, probably like most places has attracted the interest of those tracing their ancestry, but I am afraid I am unable to help, and neither is the local priest or his colleagues, as the only registers held at the church are the current ones.

St Bees Registers

The old St Bees Parish Registers cover the period from 1538 to 1837 and are available as printed transcripts for baptisms, marriages and burials both at the office below and at St Bees Library.
