St Bees Shops

Like many villages these days, St Bees has gradually lost its shop. When I moved here 35 years ago, there were 3 grocers, a greengrocer, a gift shop, a clothes shop, the Tuck Shop, a beach cafe and a Post Office, as well as 4 garden nurseries/garden centres. Now we have Harleys Cafe, the Post Office, and 2 garden centres.

The index on the left is what we still have, with the two Garden Centres being outside the village.
