Local Walks

This walk takes some 2 hours and covers about 3 miles (5 Kms). It is mainly along country roads, with some cross country paths. The route visits Rottington, a nearby hamlet. This is followed by a woodland walk along the road to Sandwith. The route now cuts across to Byersteads Road and returns via this road to St Bees.

The route gives access to a number of side tracks which are worth exploring and are fully described in the leaflet on Walk 6.
